Mens Open Pro, Wheelscorcher
Josh Ledford took Mens Open Pro at Wheelscorcher, held June 27-28 at Fire Mountain Trails. Wheelscorcher is not a USA FLT sanctioned event, but the float scene does not stop between circuit stops, and Ledford is exactly the kind of rider who keeps showing up regardless. Patient, technical, built for courses that fight back.
The Knoxville rider came to Onewheel the way a lot of people do, saw one rolling past, could not stop thinking about it. What followed was five years of racing, a move from FM to Open, and a reputation as one of the most community-focused riders on the circuit. He shows up to race and to be present for the scene around him.

Northwest Electric Fest runs July 16-19 at Havenroot in Veneta, Oregon. Four days of off-road racing across 13 ladder divisions including Mens and Womens Pro, Amateur, Novice, Teens, Youth, Clydesdales, and Legends. Organized by Jesse Cargil, NWEF is one of the most dialed events on the circuit and the Pacific Northwest's biggest float racing weekend of the year.
Registration is open through July 18. If you are on the fence, get off it. Spots do not last.
