USA FLT ยท 2026 National Championship Circuit

10 Race Events.
One Nation.
We Need You.

USA FLT is launching sanctioned race events across the country in 2026, and we can't do it without leaders in every state.

This sport is at a turning point. The riders who step up now will shape what competitive Onewheel racing becomes in America: the venues, the sponsors, the safety standards, and the future of the national championship.

Why It Matters To You

What Sanctioning Actually Gets You

Being part of a national sanctioning body isn't just a title. It unlocks real benefits for every rider, event organizer, and local community in the sport.

๐Ÿ†
Sponsor Access

National structure makes USA FLT attractive to sponsors. More sponsorship means prize money, event funding, and brand support that flows back to every race.

๐Ÿญ
Manufacturer Support

A sanctioning body gives Onewheel vendors like Flight Fins, Fungineers, and The Float Life a direct reason to support racing: demo products, tech support, and partnership deals.

๐Ÿ“
Better Venues

Sanctioned events open doors to professional tracks, fairgrounds, and venues that won't work with informal groups. Official events get taken seriously.

๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ
Event Insurance

Sanctioning enables access to event liability insurance, something most venues now require. This is what makes legal, professional racing possible.

๐Ÿ…
National Rankings

Official results, standings, and a path to the national championship. Your wins count. Your ranking travels. The sport gets a real scoreboard.

๐Ÿค
Community Infrastructure

Safety standards, unified rules, and organized events mean more riders can participate with confidence and structure. Beginners and veterans alike.

Common Questions

FAQ

How much time does this actually take?

There's no minimum hour requirement. Founding Council members are community leaders first, and the role fits around your existing involvement. If you're already riding, attending events, and talking to other riders, you're already doing most of it. As the sport grows, so will the opportunities to do more, but you set the pace.

Is there a cost to join the Founding Council?

No. There is no fee to be nominated or appointed to the Founding Council. You do need to be an active USA FLT member to be eligible, but the role itself costs nothing. This is about giving back to the sport, not paying for a title.

Can I nominate someone without their knowledge?

Yes, peer nominations are encouraged. If you know someone who would be perfect for this role, nominate them. USA FLT will reach out to all nominees before any appointment is confirmed, so no one gets the role without knowing about it first. You can also nominate yourself. Self-nominations are equally welcome.
